Bill’s Bio

Bill Ethridge has more than 25 years of experience as a financial leader. He started his career in Big 4 public accounting and transitioned into industry after five years.

While working in public accounting, Bill gained valuable experience in many industries as well as exposure to both public and private companies. His assignments ranged from relatively small family-owned businesses to multi-billion dollar international companies. He was exposed to many industries including manufacturing, oil and gas, governmental entities, construction, property management, health care and retail.

Since leaving public accounting, Bill has spent the balance of his career in various financial leadership roles of companies ranging from the small family-owned business to the multi-billion dollar international company. This experience also spans several industries including manufacturing, construction, property management and wholesale distribution. In addition to financial experience, Bill has led other departments such as IT and human resources.

All of his extensive experience has led Bill to develop into a complete financial leader. A technically strong CPA, he has experience in complex processes such as major system implementations, accounting for foreign entities and consolidating foreign subsidiaries. He has managed all accounting operations departments and the complete budgeting process. Having set up accounting departments and their processes from inception, he is very knowledgeable about them as well as procedures and controls.

Bill excels at developing healthy and productive relationships with all levels of management and leads them to accomplish company goals. His leadership skills, technical ability and analytical skills makes it all possible. His experience goes beyond a purely financial nature and includes negotiating debt agreements, purchase contracts, sales contracts and insurance policies. His vast experience allows him to manage relationships with many external parties including banks, auditors, insurance agents, vendors, customers and governmental entities.

In addition to his finance and accounting accomplishments, Bill has partnered with other functions outside of the finance world to understand the business operations and bring changes that favorably impact the bottom line. He understands and critiques operational processes, proposes improvements, and can then understand the impact on the bottom line.

Bill believes in working hard but also enjoys the blessings in his life. He is married and has two daughters and identical twin sons. He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS degree in Accounting.
